That means that you should slow things down and explain your ideas very carefully to your reader. You may want to provide a short summary of the work in a separate paragraph after the introduction. Remember that summaries are never objective. Your main idea (thesis) should inform the information you include in your summary.
Title your essays and number your pages. Your title should give your reader a sense of what the essay is about.
