Part 2.
Discuss how the concept(s) applies in a communication situation/Give an example: Consider: An aspect of your life, a cartoon, an article, photograph, Instagram, Tweet, movie, song lyrics, poem, etc. Be creative and vary your examples throughout the term. Please describe who is involved in the situation AND the context of the situation. Be thorough in your descriptions- who what when where how why? Also describe how the textbook concept(s) helps to explain the communication situation.
Part 3.
In this section, please specifically evaluate the communication situation (the example situation you just described above). This section works as your conclusion be sure to evaluate the message sent and received in the example you wrote about for #2. Analyze and evaluate based on the three criteria for effective communication, as discussed in the first week Module. Ask and Answer: Was message (in your example for #2 above) understood as intended? Did message achieve the intended effects-mental? physical? emotional? Was message ethical?). If the communication message in your example situation above was not effective, what could be done differently? Different words? Different actions? Different interpretations?
