: Explain how either 1 John or Hebrews teaches about the centrality of love for the community. Be sure to also explain how the issue of apostasy in your selected text is presented by the author as threatening the ability of the community to live its mission of evangelization.
Response posts: Build on the work of the initial post by utilizing any biblical material that we have covered already this semester. This can include material from the Old Testament, the Gospels, or other New Testament works. The goal here is to find ways of reflecting on love as at the center of God’s commandments to humanity and the way that divergent teachings have threatened the ability of the Jewish community or the Church to fully live out a life in harmony with God’s will.
