Relative Risk = New Medication Cumulative Index/ Standard Medication Cumulative Index = 10/30 = 0.33

A relative risk of 0.33 would mean that those women taking the new drug had of the risk of being hypertensive compared to those in the study that were taking the standard medication .
Calculate the attributable risk absolute difference in cumulative incidence . Attributable Risk = New Medication Cumulative Index – Standard Medication Cumulative Index = 10 % – 30 % = -20 %
Provide an interpretation of the attributable risk .
