In a 5 page paper (double spaced, 11 or 12 point Font, Normal Margins) use the course readings, PowerPoints, and Lectures to develop you own perspective on the idea of CSR and Social Impact.
Remember, there are a few different ways to define and engage this topic: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Corporate Responsibility (CR), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and the broader concept of Corporate Responsibility to Race (CRR), Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG), Social Impact, and Sustainability.
How would you define the field using one of the frameworks outlined above? A few key questions to consider (you don’t have to answer each of these in turn, these are simply meant to help guide you):
1) How should corporations engage with the multitude of environment, ecological, and social challenges they face?
2.) How should corporations engage with the multitude of stakeholders they encounter in the course of their business and operations?
3) Is there a corporate responsibility to race? If so, what is it? How may the idea of a corporate responsibility to race differ from corporate DEI efforts?
5.) What are the key communication challenges of corporate responsibility efforts?
