1. Montana 1948 includes many elements of the traditional ‘Western’ story: is it, in fact, a Western? Why or why not? In what ways is it like, or unlike, a ‘traditional’ Western? Which one (traditional or untraditional) do you like better, and why? Be sure you define what a Western is in your answer!
