Research questions and Hypothesis
Based on the background information gathered and literature review related to the topic of concern, it is theoretically viable to conclude that if the independent variables such as terrorism financing, the advancement in technology, public awareness, and the security of national borders are found to have a direct relationship with human trafficking, then it is also possible to ascertain that the insight of how the variables operate to influence human trafficking can be used to mitigate the homeland security issue. Human trafficking is the dependent variable in this research. The researchers used the following research question to investigate the connection between the independent variables and human trafficking.
How do terrorism operations influence the rate of human trafficking?
What areas of technological advancement have become the platform through which the perpetrators initiate human trafficking processes?
To what extent has the security of national borders been infiltrated by the perpetrators of human trafficking?
How does creating awareness among the public concerning the strategies that the perpetrators of human trafficking employ to attract victims help to mitigate the human trafficking issue?
