This assignment is for my TED: Dual Language Classroom Master Class I’m taking in the university. Please read this Alternative Assignemnt Paper so you can understand how I created my PowerPoint and how I structured my recorded Presentation. In the video I will send you, I am presenting to a former Adult, ESL student, Monica who is from Colombia. Now, she lives here in Greensboro, NC and has a school-aged child. I had to create a Powerpoint about the current public school system, however, Monica wanted me to focus on the theme of being a better Parent to your bilingual school-aged child. So, I included information about programs/schools where parents can go to learn how to better support thier bilingual child in a dual language class. **Please only write in English – I chose Spanish because I Monica and I spoke in Spanish a lot and the 2nd half of my PowerPoint is in Spanish b/c I wanted to prove that I can communicate in Spanish as well.
