For example, in Polish there’s the word przysanie: which means, roughly, what it is I have come to say, or the emotional experience I am preoccupied with when talking about a work of art. Personally, I find this word lacking all the time in discussions of art in English. It was used all the time when I was in film school in Poland, as in, what is the przysanie of this car chase film you have made?
