For this paper, read the scenario presented in the article link below. Make a decision on this issue by developing and selecting the most ethical alternative, and support your decision using the three ethical frameworks taught in class (Chapter 3). More specifically, follow the ethical decision-making process outlined in the textbook (Chapter 2). Develop an argument in which your position on the issue is viewed considering all three ethical frameworks.
This paper does not need to be written in the argumentative essay format; however, include an introductory paragraph (or two) and clearly state your position in the introduction. Then, proceed to walking through the seven-step ethical decision-making process that led you to that conclusion. I recommend using clear headings and subheadings to define each step of the ethical decision-making process. Include all seven steps.
Step Two should clearly state the reason(s) that this scenario has ethical implications; that statement does not need to be lengthy. Step Four could include three or more alternatives; however, given limited space, compare and weigh your top two alternatives as you walk through each of the three ethical frameworks in Step Five.
The paper must be 1,500 to 1,800 words (approximately 5 pages), typed, double-spaced, and in 12 point font (font will be Times New Roman or Arial; word count does not include cover page or references page). Some additional formatting requirements:
Use 1 margins on all margins (top, bottom, left, and right)
Use page numbers on bottom right corner of every page (minus the cover page)
You are required to incorporate a minimum of three quality references into your paper. Use citations appropriately and according to APA style.
You must have a References page that includes all sources on it. Minimum number of sources 3 (the textbook counts as one source). If you have 3 sources, you have performed at the minimum level.
Cite our textbook at least 3 times.
All papers shall be turned in through Canvas. Your grade will be based on the rubric shown in Canvas. Your grade will be reduced by 10% for every 24-hour period the paper is late.

Questions to Consider: From an ethics perspective (not a legal perspective), how do you address the tension between two competing fundamental interests? Is it ethical to compel speech? Is it ethical to discriminate based on sexual orientation?
The Write-up: Develop an argument in which you take a position on compelled speech versus discrimination and support your position by following the ethical decision-making processincluding all three ethical frameworks taught in class. Avoid writing a paper focused on previous legal cases, legal precedents, or court decisions. Rather, focus on the taking a position on the issue and supporting your position through following the steps of the ethical decision-making process.
Write your paper in accordance with guidelines published for this course. For questions on writing guidelines, refer to Week 2 (Writing Workshop). Use APA formatting.
The book is Business Ethics: Decision Making for Personal Integrity and Social Responsibility 5th Edition.
For the argument to add in right at the beginning, I would argue that businesses shouldnt be forced to do something that is against their moral beliefs(as long as it isnt illegal).
