In Chapter 15, you have had the opportunity to read up on the many different psychological disorders as well as their various causes. Today, we have the advantage of being able to read, research and gain knowledge as there is an abundance of information regarding these disorders. However, it was not always this way. Historically, psychological disorders were not viewed as such and were deemed as something unnatural and out of this world.
In an essay format, describe the various historical views of psychological disorders. How were those affected by these psychological disorders treated? How would you feel living in those times? When did it start changing? Review your lecture notes as well as the textbook for this information.
