write an essay discussing how the speech by Biden effectively or ineffectively uses ethos, pathos, and logos to influence a particular audience. This is one of my favorite assignments, and I think you all will like it as well. So the guidelines are as follows:
select a speech, a documentary, a commercial, or a campaign ad
analyze how the rhetorical tools are used in your media
were they used effectively, why and how? Or were they lacking in a particular area, why and how?
audience: neutral
purpose: to show how the rhetorical devices were/were not used well. To begin to see how manipulated we, as an audience, are mainly manipulated by emotional appeals that often do not have any concrete evidence to support them.
requirements: 2-3 pages, in text citations, at least 2 sources, MLA formatted, work cited page
