This assignment requires you to put together generalized lesson plans that are sensitive to immigrant students who are English Language Learners. Many of the students are refugees and so the lessons need to be put in plain english and sensitive to their experiences. (Example is for resume, many students are afraid to “brag” about their skills – so in synopsis make sure to encourage that!)
The lesson plans are:

Introduction to a Personal Statement
Introduction to a Cover Letter
Introduction to a Resume/CV
Introduction to a formal email (job application submission email)

I have already included two lesson plans that are partially done which you can use as examples for how to continue the rest of the lessons. The final lesson plan, formal emails, is the best example of what the rest of the lesson plans should resemble.
PLEASE use any online resources or articles to help you build these lessons. No need to source anything, but you can pull ideas and pictures from them – don’t forget that these lessons are not built for the average student, but English language learners!
