The role of Knowledge Management Infrastructure In Organisational Knowledge Management

This paper looks at the role of knowledge infrastructure in organisational acknowledgement. Organisational knowledge practices follow the proposed modified framework mentioned on page 171 of the attached document figure 10. the role of knowledge infrastructure should be looked at in light of the various elements of knowledge management mentioned in the framework. the interaction of the elements of knowledge managed is shown in figure 9 of the attached document. The idea of knowledge management infrastructure sharing within a business sector, say among banks or service industry, or the telecommunication(most prefered) to increase efficiency and reduce the cost of managing organisational knowledge should be highlighted.
