Option # 2 – Classifications of Developmental Disabilities

Select one (1) specific disability term (Figure 5-2 pg. 109) and research your selected disability and reflect on how you as an inclusion teacher could support a child with you selected disability. Include the following:

An overview of your disability term including it’s specific features or hallmarks.
Describe two (2) accommodations and/or modifications you can make in your classroom to support a child with this disability.
Describe a challenge you might face working with this specific disability.
Provide one (1) resource that you can use to learn more about this disability. They might include; websites, journals, magazines, and books.
Required Elements in your work: Two specific examples of accommodations and/or modifications you can implement and one resource dedicated to your specific disability (websites include a link, all other include a photo of your resource)
