There are long lasting debates in American society about the costs and benefits of migration, and more specifically of undocumented immigrants. In what ways – do you think – undocumented immigrants relate to our social and economic systems (i.e. taxation, social services and benefits, criminality, unemployment, labor, poverty, etc.)? Do you think undocumented immigrants take more than they contribute to our nation? in what ways? Are there any other types of contributions or detriments that socio-economic indicators do not consider and should be highlighted (culture, family, community, religion, etc.)?
