Select one of these poems and describe how the imagery emphasizes the life of the mind. Throughout your analysis, point out how the ideas the images represent play out in the other lines of the poem. (1-2 paragraphs with reference to the poem by title).

As you trace the imagery through the poem, consider how it changes in the poem. How does the imagery reinforce the tone of the poem?
